    KVA vs. KW for lighting

    When you're doing your load calcs (either in a panel or for the service) you multiply your lighting load by 1.25 anyways. So I doubt the PF really makes much of a difference in the long run.

    That is correct as long as the receptacles downstream are wired to the LOAD side of the GFCI receptacle and not just daisy chained off of the LINE wiring into the receptacle.

    I passed on my first try. The biggest thing I can recommend is having good reference materials and being very familiar with them. I had my materials laid out in 3 binders that I pretty much used for 90% of the test. I do have some reference materials for sale in this thread...
