15 years out of school. Sat for FE-Electrical and PE-Power in October 2011, passed both.

I studied using the Camara Electrical Engineering reference manual and the Camara sample exams. I also practiced the NCEES PE exam published by NCEES. I also took (and passed) the FE - Electrical, so I was well versed with my Electrical basics. Knowlege of NFPA70 also helps. I looked online for...

October 2011 PE/Power Passed, lucky for me the first time. I also took the FE - Electrical in October 2011 which I think may have help strengthen my EE basics. :)

I am still waiting for my CT PE results. I received my FE results Thursday (12/15) after the NCEES released them friday (12/9). Since the PE exam results were released Wed (12/14), I am assuming CT will release the results this coming Tuesday (12/20). It's pretty much a guess though.

Congrats to you as well. I am not sure, but my co-worked said it take about 2-months from passed status to getting license. That's if you submit your license dues in a timely fashion as well.
