I took surveying today after taking seismic two weeks ago. For me it was much harder test and I ran out of time, as opposed to seismic, which I finished early with spare time to check and correct marked questions. I found that many survey questions required a lot of simple but lengthy...

Took seismic today. The booklet was stapled and tabbed for easier navigation. 55 questions. Reminder at 15 minutes and at 1 minute. The desk space is kind of small but OK for 2 books and the rest (if any) can be on the floor next to you. You do not need a whole pile of books anyway. I'd say it...

I did not look. The letter says that "structural endorsement will be added" and I am in no rush. As for the raise, with our losses during the last two years I wouldn't dare to ask. So your letter shall be in on Monday. Good luck! Enjoy the Superbowl!

Oh, I did not know they are emailing...I kind of forgot about the exam (or pretended so) for a while but I guess I had it in the back of my mind since the internal clock started ticking about 12 weeks after the exam. Good luck to you too!

No, it is not the first renewal...Spoke with the Board: according to them this activity would fall under the "Non-qualified" activities and would not count for PDH/CEU. I can write to the board, of course, and have them review the issue and rule. Maybe I will do that.

I emailed the board - no response yet. It turned out that I have just enough credits for this period but I want to clear this issue and maybe rollover some hours into the next period.

Is anybody waiting for the WA Structural III results? I know it is kind of early but still wanted to check...

Did anybody think of claiming studying time or actual "exam taking time" for continuing education credits? Seems fair...I was studying for S-II and WA S-III and now I discovered that I am lacking my PDH hours for the past two years.

Based on my own experience, I would strongly recommend to eliminate all discrepancies in the evaluated degree - it will follow you throughout your carrier. Even if some boards will let it pass based on your graduate/post-graduate education and/or experience, you would still have to write...
