I know the data exists somewhere because we all put our school on the exam, but I was curious if it was posted anywhere. Which Engineering schools have the best and worst pass rates for the FE and PE? I am just curious.

O.k, so I received one of them today. I am assuming it is the license because it is about 4"x8" or so and has an expiration date on it. It also came with a wallet size card. Please tell me this isn't the certificate. I guess it will come later? Thanks again.

For those of you registered in TN, what does the wall certificate look like? Is it like the little dinky one they have in Barber shops, or is it larger and nicer like a diploma? I guess I'll know soon, but I'd like to know if I should bother getting it framed. Thanks in advance.

I did the same, and my status has been changed as well. Thanks. I don't know why I'm anxious to get the certificate. It's not like it's going to change anything. It'll just be nice to finally see it hanging on the wall I guess. Take care.

Where are you based? I doubt I'll go all the way up to Nashville, but Brentwood or Franklin might be an option sometime.

Will someone post when they receive a PE #, or when they receive the certificate or some acknowledgement that their application approval process is complete? My letter only says that my application was approved, but I needed to pay the registration fee. When they receive payment, then they will...

Thanks for the input. I see some places like 'pdhonline.org' have some online classes for about $30/pdh. It ain't cheap, but I've seen worse.

How long ago did you pass the exam? The only score I got was 'PASSED'. I am not sure I want to go back and see the real score. All I need to know is that is was good enough, whether it was 70% or 100%. I am just glad I don't have to do it again. :happy:

Where are you guys planning to get your CEU's? My company will not pay for them, so I'll have to foot the bill unless I let my status go inactive. Have any of you found relatively cheap sources? Some of these seminars and such can get very expensive. Machine Design has relatively few options...

I will most likely send emails to those I speak with often and letters to those I don't. It's been a long process. I look forward to being asked to become someone else's reference someday. It's a rite of passage.

Absolutely nothing. I expect it will help get my resume some additional looks in case I am looking for another job. In this economy, you might need all the help you can get.

I think if you are several years out of college then you opt for an MBA. If you are still in school, then go for the Masters. I don't know if I could ever go back now and get a Masters or PhD in Engineering.
