I'm in CO. I passed it 4 years ago but I received an email directly from NCEES. It was December 30 which was right before the NYE holiday at around 6:30 PM. Either way I was going to the bar that weekend. Good luck to you!!
If I remember correctly I didn't find out via NCEES until after 5 PM Denver time. And believe me, I was hitting that refresh button quite a bit. This was the October 2010 results. Hang in there, you'll know soon enough. Good luck!
Last time I think we found out on a Wednesday right before New Years. Took about 58 days. EIT and Survey results were about a week before PE if I remember correctly. Good luck to all of you out there that took it in April!!!
Most profs I had in college that were licensed put PE after their name, along with PhD and whatever other acronyms they could cram in there. I don't see an issue with it, you earned it!!
The best advice I heard was, "know what you know, and more importantly know what you DON'T know". It's along test with lots of questions. You won't know the answer to everything, answer what you know then come back and answer the other questions.
One thing I did that saved a ton of time was to tab the index of the CERM, (CE Reference Manual). That really helped. Also, practice taking tests in actual test conditions. Don't look at answers after every question and try to get through questions in 6 minutes or less.
I felt pretty good after the test. Of course, I started comparing answers with a co-worker who also took test and then we both realized we missed some easy questions. As time went on I had some pretty good mood swings. Sometimes I was sure I passed and other times I was sure I failed. I'm...
