Passed FE in PA! Mechanical PM

Go with your gut feeling coming out of the exam! Mine was very positive and dead on... I passed. A friend of mine felt horrible after... He failed.

Ok as I type this I'm currently calling the PA Department of Engineering blah blah blah... Longest opening menu sequence I have ever heard... Now which number to press... Not 4... Ridiculously long Main Menu again... Not 5... Horrendously long Main Menu again... oh 0.... Should have waited...

It will be interesting for me to see what happens at my company. I'm currently waiting on my FE results so I have 4 years but once I get my PE I will be the only engineer other then our Engineering Manager to have their PE. I would almost expect a promotion from Mechanical Engineer to at least...

I would hope that once the board approves, which should take no time because everyone else did the work for them, and releases back to PCS that it should go up on NCEES quickly. Unless PCS will have to do some more reconciling which at this point wouldn't surprise me. :deadhorse:

Distracting is right... Anyone get a chance to call the PA board yesterday or today since PCS has told us they released the results to the board?

So today maybe?

Quick update: 1:45 est No response yet from PCS/EES (Email sent 10:15 am est 1/4/11) No Email No Results on NCEES Ugh :waitwall:

I emailed at 10:15 this am. No response yet.

The passing rates are by NCEES which has released all of it's results. Some states like NY, PA, WI and others use independent exam verification companies that get the results and validate them (they call reconciling the results). Once they are validated that let NCEES know they can release...

I hope they are just waiting to release the FE and PE pass/fails at the same time. Otherwise it might be another week for you PEers once we get our FE results. :waitwall:

Not yet DarbCU. I just sent an email to PCS... See if I even get a response.

What are they reconciling? NCEES does all the work... And it's scantron... Seriously we should have results with in a week or two not 2 months. I understand it's a complicated scoring system but we have computers. We don't need wage-earners running the calculations by hand. Oh wait... I...

I have been checking it just in case and I just checked it now but there have been no new licenses/EITs released. I agree with "the man" especially if we are getting them from the My NCEES site.
