I've heard good things about EET's siesmic course.  Just wanted to second that.

If you're taking WRE Depth, I'd still recommend understanding every problem in the 6 Minute Solutions book.  Sure, some problems are more in-depth than the actual PE exam, but you'll come away learning and being more prepared.  I wouldn't make this recommendation for any of the other civil...

I like what you did here, Joshua.  I agree with John's idea to provide 4 possible solutions to choose from.  This can be helpful because it's not uncommon to work backwards from the possible solutions, or to use the possible solutions to check ballpark estimations before performing all calculations.

I had a co-worker who was a mechanical engineer study for and pass the Civil PE exam without any prior civil classwork and very limited (<1 year) work experience. He took the construction depth and said he was glad he made that decision. Just throwing that out there.

Off topic, but, are you saying you only studied 16 hours total for the PE exam and passed it? Or are you saying you only studied 16 hours WITH THOSE MATERIALS which you're giving away? (and studied more time with other materials)

I went ahead and ordered a handful of transcripts for myself for times like this. Of course I could forget just as well. But I never know when I'll need one, and I wouldn't want to press my luck if there is an important deadline coming up. Not just a tip for the PE exam either - I actually...

In my experience, it's easier to get a raise by switching companies than by waiting for the typical 3% raise (or less) each year. But if you like your current employer, consider getting a higher offer elsewhere and then negotiate with your current employer, in a professional and polite manner...
