I came with V2=300 V. Second formula doesn't apply to the Auto transformer.

There are so many mistakes in Kaplan's solution. I would select 1/0 wire size. 1/0 THHN wire ampacity is 135 A multiply by derating factor .8 This will gives you 108 A which is more then 107.5 A per set of phase. As Flyer mentioned, derating factor table must apply to this problem. Thanks,
