    Illinois Endorsement (Comity)

Thanks for the replies. I mailed my application last week. My application envelope included my transcripts and my license verification letter from the LA Board. It should be ok to have these sealed envelopes inside my application packet, right? Or did I have to instruct LSU and LAPELS to...

I sent in my completed application to the Illinois board for PE license endorsement. My PE is in Louisiana. Does anyone have any experience in dealing with Illinois regarding how long I can expect the process to take? Also, what criteria do they consider? Is there any chance they deny my...

    EXAM TIME

you know, that countdown is so much more fun to watch after you pass the test good luck everybody...resist the urge to discuss the test. I wanted to talk about it very badly, instead I just decided to drink heavily and wait for that envelope to arrive.

    Notes Allowed

I brought photocopies of all my handwritten material just to be safe. Not worth getting kicked out over something like that.

how do you haul all this crap to the test?

I used a rolling suitcase. Just left it on the floor and dug through the books.

    Which calculator?

I used the Casio 115MS, but now that the ES is allowed again, I'd recommend that one. (for EE-power)

    Study with group or alone?

I studied alone because I didn't know anyone else taking the test. Given the choice, I'd rather a group. By myself, I make too many excuses not to study and get distracted easily. Being with a group would at least get the process going, as I'd be pressured to participate.

    Dr. Kenneth Kaiser's practice test

I used Dr. Kaiser's test as a study guide for the October 07 test. I found it very useful, as his explanations were good, and they taught me how to analyze the different answers available and how to narrow down to a best choice. I wish he wrote an afternoon module to complement that AM section.
