    Response From Employer

my boss gave me a pat on the back, and said congrats. that's about all I expect - maybe a little bigger bonus than usual this year... maybe. but really, it's enough for me that he took the time to congratulate me. you have to earn your keep in this world - the p.e. exam is just an exam...

    Ultimate Book Cart

I used two crates, same cart, and bungee cords to secure them. I got lucky, and there were breaks in the rain when I was walking into the test and then out of the test. I had a poncho in my backpack to drape over it just in case. If you bring a luggage bag, you will not have a shelf right...

    # of Hours of study & prep

I passed the civil structural, the first time, by studying the NCEES practice problems for the civil exam and the structural I exam - I found the structural I practice problems to be extremely good practice for the structural depth of the civil PE. Civil PE April 2010

This was my first (and hopefully only) time - I took the Structural depth. The morning was easy. I only used the CERM. Couple of questions I wasn't sure of. I found the Structural depth to be even easier than the morning. I used a lot of my codes and references, and there were a couple of...

    Final Days Jitters

The thing is - there is so much information covered on the exam, when I go over some stuff in my head, I think about another topic that I think I need to study more, etc. I'm just taking solace in the fact that I will have my references with me, and if I forget how to do something - I will be...

    Ultimate Book Cart

I'm doing something similar (found the same cheap cart at Lowes), and I'm taking the Structural depth, but I'm only using two crates. I bought three, just in case, though. I'm sure if I had more references I would fill the third crate and not think twice.
