New Code for Spring 2014 Seismic test

Its a "real" code change. Buy the ASCE 7-10, 2012 IBC, and most certainly the new Hiner Book for the 2012 IBC. Those are the only 3 books you need to pass the CA Seismic exam. You don't need any seminars or anything else. All you need to do is work through ALL of the Hiner book "Multiple...

    Lateral Study Materials

for the Lateral exam, get the Hiner book, #1 absolutely for all basic seismic stuff. If you do all of the Multiple Choice and Example Problems in that book, you will be a pro, at all basic seismic criteria, and then some. Thank me later!!! http://www.seismicreview.com/Workbook.html...

    Question about SE2 practice exam

That old NCEES Str-II book is a valuable study resource, for the current 16-Hour SE exam, to be used in conjunction with the new NCEES SE Practice Exam, and the PPI 16-Hour SE Practice Exam. However, it is filled with errors. A very nice person has uploaded and attached the old Errata for it...

So it was Lateral exam, in the AM? And you're a bridge guy, yeah? The Seismic Design Review manual (Hiner) is a truly AWESOME resource. Its intended for the California Civil Seismic Exam, but it is fantastic for SE Lateral exam as well. I didn't really "Study" the book. But I did go work...

    Let the nervous countdown begin

Hmm. Well, I applied to California to be able to take the exam, and was approved by California. I was assuming that NCEES contacts California with my results, and then California will send me my letter and license #. Anyone else familiar with California in this regard? Is there really...
