    Recommedation for Preparing for the test

    I didn't really get to study much with a new house, and new baby. I just skimmed through my reference manual for studying (2-3hrs), worked for me but wouldn't recommend it. Lindeburg, Civil Engineering Reference Manual for the PE Exam is the one I used the entire time in the morning session...

    Calculators

    TI-30X IIS on both FE and PE. Use whatever calculator that you plan to use on the test at work a couple of months before the test so that you are familar with it. I think a basic calculator would have worked for me and I took the civil/structural exam.

    Fatty Raises
