It was probably the land surveying results, just like it says on the site, that were mailed out on Friday. The other disciplines probably haven't been recieved yet.

I like to target shoot. I started reloading my own ammunition and will be doing that for the mean time. Also, deer season starts 11/14, so I will be out in a blind on the weekends waitin for the big buck to stroll by. It's actually rolling by pretty quickly.

I guess they are also testing on if you know what you need to find to solve the problem. Otherwise, if they gave you all the info, wouldn't that be similar to the FE? Just a thought. And yes, I did have to find some wild ass reference a couple times.

I took MD for the afternoon and got off to a real quick start, but then hit that middle 15-question string someone else talked about and had troubles. There were a couple of obscure questions that I got by knowing what all was in the MERM. The morning was tougher than I imagined it would be...

I assume by "#3", you mean you have the 1st edition, 3rd printing? I have the 2nd edition, 1st printing and #37 in my sample exam is about gravimetric air/fuel ratios.

I don't agree with the "bring all the refereces you can" part. That's gonna scare some people into bringing a bookshelf's worth of books. I think most would be overwhelmed by so many during the test. I am taking the MERM, Shigley, and maybe one more.

Oh yes, as I am going through, if there is a part I get hung up on, I have been going through references until I understand how the answer is to be found. There are no short-cuts on this, I want to take this one time only.
