    MN NCEES record references

You are aware of the fact that NSPE has online boards..... "Networking Opportunities Through Interest Groups, online forums, and live events, members can reach engineers across the country and in their local area." so its ok to network through an online board with NSPE, but this board is not...

    MN NCEES record references

Firstly, to the suggestion that this is quid pro quo. “Quid pro quo” suggests that without satisfactory verification that I would endorse someone else. I find that offensive. I would NEVER engage in quid pro quo. If after an extended discussion via phone, exchange of work materials and face to...

    MN NCEES record references

I apologize if you are offended... I'm certainly not suggesting that potential references base their decisions "only through the internet". I certainly wouldn't be comfortable with it. Imagine making a hiring decision solely on a resume.... However, honesty is the best policy and by clearly...

    MN NCEES record references

    NCEES Record References

Folks, I am starting this topic for those who wish to establish an NCEES record and need references. I propose we use this topic to discuss our backgrounds and experience, so we can confidently support each other. Not sure how we can provide each other with names, so maybe a more senior member...

Level of engineering education in the US

That's fair, given that we live in a global economy. But tell me what percentage? Is it a requirement that US engineering students learn Japanese/German/French/Portuguese/Mandarin Chinese? How many German/French/Japanese engineers speak English? I'd venture to guess its a hell of a lot more...

Level of engineering education in the US

Anecdotal evidence on engineers is not particularly useful....... How 'bout these macro-scale comparison: Rolls Royce vs. GE Aircraft Engines vs. Pratt and Whitney Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW vs. Toyota, Honda, Hyundai vs. Ford, GM vs. Fiat, Ferarri Boeing vs. Airbus Candair vs. Embraer...

Do your references have to be in MN? If you are using the NCEES record program it doesn't look like it.

Pass Rates Are Telling Us Something!

If you perform a standard 95% confidence interval on pass rates, the range is 59%-72% -- meaning analyzing pass rate data is like analyzing noise.
