    CA Specific Exams

So, we are supposed to carry the pocket id and pocket certificate with us?  Why do they give us three different id/certificates?  (Not complaining, I think it's exciting getting all these things....just curious)

@CAPLS Thanks for the information on notifying the Board. I probably would have missed it otherwise!

I found the "next steps" page on the board's website. It says we can e-mail the notification form. http://bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/ncees_pe_exam_next_steps.shtml

    CA New P.E. License Lookup

What do we do after passing all the exams?  Do we automatically become licensed?  Is there some other paperwork we have to do?

Got the surveying results today.  Passed!!!  That's the only exam I had left.  What do I do with my life now!?

What is your evaluation about CA Seismic & Surveying fall 2017 exams

I took the Surveying Exam this Fall 2017.  I feel like I did much better this time around, than I did in April.  What helped me this time: 1) This was the only exam I was studying for (no seismic, no 8 hour). 2) I wasn't starting from scratch. I built on knowledge I gained from studying for...

    Test Taking Strategy/Approach (Surveying)

What's the best strategy for attacking the surveying exam? Last time I took the exam, I just went in order, from 1 to 55.  If there was a complicated problem, I guess and moved on to the next.  I admit I spent too much time on some problems that I should have just skipped.  I ended up missing...

When should we expect CA Specific Exam results?

I got my results in the e-mail today. Passed Seismic :) Failed Surveying :( I was really hoping I wouldn't have to study any more! Oh well....2 down, 1 to go! (passed the 8-hour last October)

    Exam window opening tomorrow

I took the 8 hour, the Seismic, and the Surveying exams all in October 2016.  Passed the 8 hour, but failed the other two.  I wasn't surprised, as I spent most of my time studying for the 8 hour. This April, I took the Seismic and Surveying again.  I feel more confident this time around, but...

    EET Seismic Review

My background in seismic/structural engineering is not great (lol).  However, I went through the videos and homeworks through chapter 5 and part of chapter 6.  So, my plan is to read/skim through the rest of the book, while doing the homework problems, practice exams, etc along the way.  I will...

    EET Seismic Review

I signed up for the EET seismic review for this Spring.  My exam is in about 3.5 weeks.  However, I am only about half way through the videos (including homeworks/workshops/etc).  I was busy with family stuff the past month & also I have been studying for surveying, which is why I fell...

Anyone received exam notifications for CA Seismic and/or Surveying for April 2017?

I am not sure to be honest. However, I can tell you that I received my notifications at similar times to JaxTeller (Seismic at Tuesday afternoon, Surveying at Wednesday morning).
