So...How long did you study what was your game plan and what was your result

I took HVAC and passed this October. Seeing in that you took the time to do all the PPI problems, the time you studied seems reasonable. I took one look at them, and pretty much skipped the entire book. Only skimmed the reading and then just did the realistic problems. From NCEES and 6MS

So...How long did you study what was your game plan and what was your result

What did you do hours 200-800? Yes there is lots of material, but unless you just solved the same problems over and over, I can't fathom this much studying. Maybe you got a perfect score?

References I used for passing the exam

Do you work in HVAC? I also took and passed the test, but used much less materials. Obviously a pass is a pass, maybe you scored higher.  I used the MERM, tabbed with the index printed, and the four ASHRAE books on the test. Also had a few cycle cheat sheets. Your Productivity During this Waiting Period

I work for a small company. Bad performance is not acceptable. Mine has been better as I've been less exhausted from night studying.

Mechanical Systems and Materials PE exam

If a 70% is a passing score, then sure I can see how a 49/80 is passing. I have very little knowledge about scores so I really don't know. But it just seems from other threads that guesses at passing scores are higher

Mechanical Systems and Materials PE exam

How would you think 49/80 isn't failing? I know this cut score thing is pretty much a mystery but I think the conversation starts above 50, minimum. If a raw percentage near 60% is passing, the PE exam is pretty worthless, in my mind

Mechanical Systems and Materials PE exam

Can I ask what you got in April? If conservatively you still have a failing score this time, yet it was much easier, well......I'm not sure that what you say makes sense to me
