@Rantlers so did I! Unfortunately I have heard that after you send in the form and the money it can be weeks before you get the license certificate and the letter explicitly said you can not perform engineering (which I took to mean use the title PE) until you have the certificate in hand.

I have a question about the experience required for the NJ PE. I graduated college in May of 2010 and passed the FE in April 2010. I started work in June 2010. According to the application requirements it says experience must be up to the time of the application and not future experience...
I graduated in May of 2011 and began working that qualifies as design in June 2011 and Passed FE in April 2011. Would I be able to take the PE in April 2015 or would I have to wait until October 2015? I am in New Jersey if it matters.
Also, do any states require less than 4 years experience?
When filling out the experience for the application I know you list the PE you worked for. What if you left your first job after a year or two and do not talk to the PE anymore. If they are not listed as a reference will the boards still contact them to follow up or will they only contact the...
