They almost always say if it is NESC or NEC, at least they did that when I took the exam.. NCEES does not do tricky questions.

Camara book came in handy for me for economics. I used the tables for a lot of my problems. It's like your NESC. You won't use it a lot but it will be helpful when you least expect it.

Any suggestions on how to get PDH units for PE license renewal? I just realized PA asks for 24 units for renewal and I have only till September to come up with that many. Thanks in advance!

The tables in the Camara reference manual will come in handy. That is what I used when I took the exam.

It means if you got your TX PE license by taking the PE exam in TX then you don't have to report your PDH hours when you renew for the first time. If you got your TX PE by comity (took your exam in some other state) then you will need to report your PDH hours from the first renewal.

You might consider EERM by Camara for the Economics portion. The tables at the back came in handy to solve most of the problems. Also, sometimes there are questions from the NESC - a review of it will suffice to know where to find the answers.

As a recent PE graduate (passed mine last April), I would suggest taking your EERM and NESC books. There were few questions on economics (EERM tables come in handy) and from NESC. I decided to take them with me at the last minute and I was very glad I did.
