Thanks for the clarification! The wording is very poor, in my opinion, and your story confirms it, especially when you have the argument of it taking more than 4 years to graduate. They should just say what everyone else says: "4 years if you have an bachelors; 3 years if you have a masters"...

Quick question about Colorado PE requirements. Does CO require 4 or 8 years of experience? Their website states: "Licensed in good standing in another jurisdiction. Qualifications must be substantially equivalent to those currently required of applicants..." Okay, that makes sense. So what are...

    April 2018 Pass Rates

Do we know how they determine this? Do they have existing PEs take the test and average their scores?

    April 2018 Pass Rates

I knew the Civil Structural seemed harder than I expected. Both morning and afternoon were significantly harder than the 5 practice exams I took. Glad I passed though... 69% last October. 59% this time. That's a lot of people!

Structural PE Relocating to Denver, Colorado

I passed the April 2018 PE exam and am now a licensed PE in Mississippi. My wife is being relocated to her company's Denver, CO office, so I am actively seeking a position as a structural engineer in the Denver, CO area. I have over 5 years' experience in analysis and design of structures (a lot...

Could be to soon to ask but....If you didn't pass, what was your score?

The School of PE folks suggested using this method, but I don't like it at all. If the problem is a 1, just do it. You don't need to label anything. Just go through it problem by problem, skipping ones that look difficult or that would take long. Don't get distracted by an "easy" or "fun"...

Could be to soon to ask but....If you didn't pass, what was your score?

I could have written a post that said exactly this. Literally every word is the same for me. I made sure to take enough morning practice exams to consistently get 35 questions correct, and I feel the same about the actual morning exam as I did about the practice exams (even though I think it...

    States that haven't released yet?

Well I received the email, and NCEES officially shows I passed the test now, so you can turn MS green!

    States that haven't released yet?

Thank you! I know there's another thread about this, but since I have the license number, I assume that means I can put my PE credentials in my name?

    States that haven't released yet?

Oh gosh, I show up. It has a license number, and I can print out the little card that says I'm a PE and has my license number on it. I think that means I passed!

    States that haven't released yet?

I'll be glad to be your Mississippi representation. I'm still waiting... I asked my wife to put me in a medically-induced coma and to wake me up after the result is available, but she refused.
