You cannot bring pads of notes or write anywhere else than on the paper provided by the Board during the test (ie the exam booklet and the answer sheet).
It's possible, I've done it, but it does not work with ALL other states. It work for me with Az but not ND. As the other post say it, you will have to wait to have all the experience required by the state you would apply for PE.

Thanks for the info. It's CA Board peope, if they say 4 to 6 weeks they mean 8 to 10, we know them...so happy the ordeal is over though :bananapowerslide:
Yes, it's got good problems. Mind you, mine is sold. I would also recommend #2 from my list above, has two very good practice tests, which are very rare to find otherwise.

I used Hiner (book and webinar) first time around and I failed too. His problems are too simple and if you are new to Seimsic, the book is not good in providing the basic concepts. You need to understand the basic concepts in depth, and I could only do that by looking through various sources...
