Right there with you, guys. Our field has such a high level of individual accountability, yet we are at the mercy of state governments who can pass the buck indefinitely. Gotta love the irony.

Followed up, thanked them for the info last week saying "within the next week" and asked if there were any further updates on the approval process. Response: Sit tight, everyone. Might be a long holiday season at this rate.

I emailed them earlier this afternoon asking if they had an estimate of how long until they release the scores. Response: So it'll probably be a few days, but most likely before Christmas.

Well, it's something. New Yorkers can probably relax for a few days, but it looks like we're gonna be before Christmas at least.

I sent an email to the New York board humbly and humorously asking if there's any inkling of information about the release procedure or timetable that they can give us. Worth a try, I figure. Will let you all know if I hear back.

Holy moly, looks like April 2010 was significantly faster across the board. Any idea what changed, if anything? People working harder to keep their jobs maybe?
