Thank you. You may be confused though as all results are already out and I've passed everything. I am just waiting for a license number to be issued. I will list my PE credentials the way you said, and remove the "PE" after my name and add a short explanation sentence in the cover letter for...
Related question, what is the website to check the license numbers? I'm applying for jobs and need this on my resume ASAP. Can't even wait for the physical copy lol
Hello, I'm looking at the new test plan, and it mostly looks like a reorganization of topics with some things emphasized more/others emphasized less. Can anyone help elaborate what the major changes were? Thank you
Is it just me, or did you find Reza's workbook to be significantly harder than the exam material? Was tough studying from reza's workbook, since he didn't even explain how to do several of his own problems. And then the solutions to the problems are not explained well enough to be followed.
1. Why would the new test plan lead to a lower passing percentage? The test plan didn't seem all that different
2. Why would they not adjust the cut score to keep passing scores in line with previous years? It's completely unreasonable for this test to only have 39% pass rate imo
I'm with y'all with the surveying, but unfortunately i don't think the board is gonna do anything. I really thought I passed but didn't. New test plan doesn't look different than old one other than changing categories. Already mailed out my form for re-exam.
This sucks. Didn't pass the last one, but I missed the registration for Q3. Now the earliest I can take the exam is Oct, results released in Nov and license issued in Dec. This means instead of being licensed next month, the earliest I can be licensed is 5 months from now...
Especially...
shoot...i didn't realize it had changed. what a weird breakdown...I wonder how much of my studying was off in that case...
Here it is for everyone: http://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/plan_civsurvey.pdf
Didn't pass Surveying this time (last one to take), but my breakdown looks a little weird. As you can see in the second screenshot, it says that topographic surveying and construction surveying accounted for a total of 70% of the exam. Compare this to the previous diagnostic in the first...
