TI-30XIIS Passed first attempt. Don't think the calculator had anything to do with how I did on the exam though. You gotta study.

I used a small, luggage-type dolly and a bungee cord. Worked perfectly. I kept a few books on the table and the rest in file boxes on the floor. You never know what info you might need to look up in a reference book. It's a good idea to take an engineering dictionary as well. I used mine at...

Mine probably took about 3 days. I "borrowed" a lot of info from my coworkers who had taken the PE already.

I studied on average 1.5 hours a night about 6 days a week for 16 weeks. I passed civil/transportation April 09, first try. Good Luck! It pays to study the first time and get it over with.

I passed the April 09 PE on my first try. I would say I stayed connected with my family while I studied. I started studying on January 5th and the exam was on April 24th. That allowed me 16 weeks to study. My daughter was 4 months when I started studying and 8 months when I took the exam...
