Can anyone help explain this problem: Magnetic bearing of an old survey line N7 25W is now N2 30E. What is declination? My understanding is that magnetic bearing is measured from magnetic north (MN) and not true north. How would you know where the magnetic north is? MN can be in the NE or NW...

An excellent book, the best in the market. Well organized. The book combined with the review course helped me pass seismic 1st try.

I did online: 1. EIT w/EIT Experts 2. 8hr w/School of PE. They provide enough PM material to pass the test. I took the Transpo depth. 3. Seismic w/EET Ahmed Ibrahim (an excellent instructor)

If you do not have structural/seismic background, I would highly suggest a review course. Getting recommended books won't matter if you do not understand the core of the subject matter which is required to pass the test. I have been there.....

If you want to pass one go, I would highly recommend EET http://www.eet-california.com/seismic_class_info Dr. Ibrahim will go above and beyond to help you on an individual basis to pass the test. I have not any seen any instructor such as Dr. Ibrahim and there are no other course out there...

Got letter today SF Bay Area passed Seismic.
