Me too.....Didn't expect to pass since I didn't take the exam for over 11yrs but now I know what the new exam looks like and I'm sure I'll pass this time....
JoePa I believe you are correct. 11-12 yrs ago LGR was a service similar to PCS and all they did was collect the $$$ and pass along your scores. I think the Pa board plays with the numbers and they want to limit the number of PE's in each field because if they didn't all they would have to do is...
This just in.....PA ENG board pass/fail machine is broken.....Dial that is used to set min passing level is missing.....Backup dartboard is also broken because of missing darts.
I guess I'll start to study just for the heck of it....I'm tired of waiting for a fail email... :(
Now that sucks......I passed my EIT in 1998 and just a few yrs ago I was trying to confirm a PE of someone on the PA site and just for the heck of it I looked to see if my EIT was on that site...it was'nt so it basically took me 10 yrs to get my EIT on the site... :) )
Not sure....I work with a past Pres of the local PSPE and even he dosn't know how they do things....A guy in my office passed in Oct 2011 and there was a major delay in the results and when he called the Pa board they just passed the buck....
My friend passed it last April and he had his results before Memorial Day.....and a lady I work with got her AE results at the same time....I live in Pennsylvania so maybe my state issues early...not sure...
Take it until you pass it! I'm 52 yrs old and I'm taking it for the second time.....Remember when you get your stamp it doesn't say how many times it took you to pass. I know a PE from another local company and he took it 8 times before he passed!!!! Good luck and hope you passed....
