No letter for me and not in DB either - I took all 3 tests though. Is it that the database was only updated for people waiting on the seismic and/or surveying tests? That's what I'm hoping for at least....

I also took the test in CA (working in NY) because of the 2-yr experience requirement. My supervisory did the same thing about 12 yrs ago and has received reciprocity to be a licensed PE in about a half dozen other states without being required to retake the test.

I think i read on here that the RI board has to approve their results at their next meeting, which isn't until like Jan 19th or 20th. If that's true i don't see how CA could be last.

So hopefully by next Friday (1/7)... Not bad considering that historically california is almost double what most other states are as far as wait time

I don't know - CA has a unique issue w/ the state specific exams... i can picture them releasing the results of the 8-hr exam (maybe tomorrow?) or i can picture them waiting until the release the results of all 3 exams, i don't know... but then again they could surprise us and have all 3 exam...

I gotta say that if it was just a quick scantron result and you found your score out immediately it wouldn't have the same weight as it does now. Yeah that waiting sucks but that adds to how awesome it is when you actually pass. I have a feeling that once everybody gets their passing notice...

The NCEES website doesn't say that the CA board needs to validate the results, although I would find it odd if we saw our results for the 8-hr test and not the state tests. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear about any of the tests until the state board finishes with the results of their...

I took all 3 tests and I'm hoping to find out about at least the national 8-hr test this week...take away at least some of the anxiety

I also had a nice chat w/ somebody on the NCEES website. They said that we'll be receiving our results for the 8-hr exam direct from the NCEES in the same 8-10 week span as other states but that the CA board will release the state-specific results separately...not sure if this is news to...
