    9/11 conspiracy theorists

Don't give the gov't any ideas. Next attack will come from holographic Godzilla and that will give them justification to invade Japan.

Game of Thrones ! (HBO Mini Series) Spoilers......

I think they anticipated the show catching up to him writing the books so they've slowed down. The gist I'm getting is that season 4 will cover the remainder of book 3. There's still quite a bit of material to cover so I could see that working out.

Should AutoCAD be a required college course?

That's funny, I took a Fortran class also. Needless to say, I don't use it very often in my line of work...

    How many years in Consulting?

    Cycle Length

It does, just not clearly. The lost time, L, is the total lost time, not just the lost time per phase. So, to get L we need to multiply the phase lost time by the number of phases.

So much hostility..... I think we've got a communication block here. I'm pretty sure Ptatohed knows the HCM is one of the NCEES exam standards.... I just think his point was that the equation in the original post is not in the HCM. On the other hand, I think PE_2009 was implying that you could...

    Pedestrian LOS Problem

The question asks for the Platoon Adjusted LOS. The table you're referencing is only for Average Flow LOS, which doesn't take into consideration that platooning is occuring. If you look in the HCM, table 18-4, the Platoon-Adjusted LOS criteria are listed out. With that adjustment, 12.3...

    Balanced answers

Whoa now... I never implied that anyone who thought that was stupid or retarded. I simply expressed that I thought balancing the answers was retarded. There is a subtle difference. Perhaps "retarded" wasn't the best word choice and, for that, I apologize. Hey, don't get me wrong, I do the...

    Balanced answers

No, I already said I don't for sure know how they do it. I was simply giving my opinion of how they do. Perhaps rather than being repeatedly antagonistic, you could offer something constructive to the discussion. As for googling tests that use a perfectly balanced answer key... there's a lot...

    Balanced answers

Ok, ok.... granted I'm not SURE of it. But I'm most nearly completely sure of it. I'm also not sure that a team of sealions wrote the test, or that the whole PE license/test/industry isn't a fabrication of my imagination.... but I'm pretty darn certain of it. Yes, which is why I'm "sure" that...

Because that would be retarded, and they're smarter than that.

    Balanced answers

If there were in infinite number of questions then this would be true. But I'm sure they don't go out of their way to make sure there's the exact same number of each answer. Balanced? Probably. Perfectly balanced? Probably not.
