    Custom License Frame

I appreciate the good words and glad you still like it! Correct - California'a certificate is standard letter size (8.5x11) so the floating frame is about 10x12.5 (giving about 3/4" around the certificate. I can certainly go smaller if you prefer!

    Custom License Frame

I picked up my land surveyor license this spring... so time for a new frame! Still waiting for the certificate to put into the frame. If you are interested in one of these with your own information, I do sell customized ones here...

    Custom framed my PE certificate

I called the California State Board this afternoon. The code enforcement person I spoke with didn't see any issues with essentially a "giant seal" as long as it is not used on plans and used for display only. But they probably don't care about a kid who may sell a handful of these haha. I could...

    Custom framed my PE certificate

Thank you for the great responses and feedback! I made it myself! I'll have to check my notes for what kind of wood... The name escapes me at the moment. I thought about that too. I know some states have only certain vendors that can make stamps, but this isn't really a "stamp" that can seal...

    Custom framed my PE certificate

So even before I started studying for the PE... I knew what I wanted my PE frame to look like. I wanted my stamp to be the background for a floating frame of my certificate. I also posted it on my Etsy site here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/243636456/custom-diploma-or-professional-license...

    CA Results?

The new highest number I found was 84603 and the previous highest was 83547... So it seems like 757 civils got their licenses! Congratulations to all!

CA Civil - Seismic and Surveying

Mine came at 9:31a and I'm still waiting for the results. That narrows it down a bit.

    CA Results?

I don't have enough posts to edit that last one... But on my screen before I posted it was in a table and organized neatly!

    CA Results?

I think there are just a whole lot more civils than all the other licencees, so the higher numbers only have civil at this point. For example, a search for license number 15000 results in an electrical, civil, and mechanical: Name Type Number Status Address City...

    CA Results?

My number is the same as the email giving authorization to test. So they really didn't give us any new information, besides making sure our productivity is minimized...

    CA Results?

My number is ~30,000 higher than the last license issued. Maybe EIT... Although that number is about 28,000 higher than my password.

    CA Results?

Ahh, yeah I got that. I am curious if anyone knows how they decide who gets what number? For example, lets say there are 1000 new licencees this administration period. Do they assign them alphabetically? Scores on exams? Order application was filed? Some other metric?
