If you studied for the exam, you should able to pass it 100%. A lot of people I know pass it without even studied, I tried that too but didn't work the first time ha. Many of the answers are located in the reference manual, just type in what you want to know in the search menu.

I like the new format much better, I toke it yesterday in Mechanical, 2nd time. I don't have to flip around the reference handbook anymore, so I can find stuff easier and finish the the test faster. I finish 40mins ahead of the 5hr20mins they give me.

I think once you passed the FE, you are an EIT, and yes you do need FE/EIT before you can try to take the PE exam. I have heard from my professor that you have to work under someone with a PE for 3-4 year to qualify to take the PE, getting a master or 2 years related experience doesn't count. I...
