I used it to study for my PE - Power Exam in October and passed.
I too took the GA Tech review course. I thought the first half of the program was beneficial for background and review but I didn't really think the problems that he did for the power and fault analysis was very useful on the exam. I thought there could have been more VFD's, PT and CT...
I recently took the October exam and am awaiting the results. I'm not very optimistic and am curious as to how much this Chelapati book can contribute to the exam.
What does it contain that is helpful? How much does it cost?
I've watched the first 4 parts of Module 1 (GT), but am still waiting on the notes also. So far so good.
Dr. Callen seems to be very up to date on the material and is dedicated to this course and being available for students if questions arise.
An engineer before me had the EERM 7th edition that he gave me to review for the PE Power Exam this October.
I've since ordered the EPRM online for the $200. I figured if work is buying it then it may be a good idea to update my library of reference material.
Any other suggestions?
