Definitely important. I'd say you would have to know how to work with solidworks, too.

How much is your cost of living? And how much do your competetors charge? If your fees are higher than those, you need reasons to justify why.

I really like it so far! The hardest thing for me is the language for sure but everyone has been extremely nice so far. And YES you should come skipping over to Germany, it's amazing.  Auf Wiedersehen! ;)
