    Taking the PE Exam wiyhout the 4 year requirement?

    You need to check Puerto Rico state board (if they have one) and/or the ncees website(s) to find out if they'll let you do that. Good luck.

    seismic/survey prep

    I am from a different state and planning to take the surveying and seismic tests. Was the Coumo's Survey Review Book more geometry based than what appeared on the test? OR was the test more geometry based than what Coumo's Survey Review Book covers? Thank you.

    Reference Manual-Does it really matter?

    I second what roadwreck said, especially for the morning part where you'll see other disciplines. Not so important to have the most current version for the afternoon part. Good luck.

    Re-Applying to the state board

    I don't think you'll have to apply again but check your state board since state boards have different policies. You'll probably have pay a fee to your state board in addition to the ncees fee.

    I took the civil - water resources depth and spent about 300 hours studying, passed. I walked out feeling good for the morning part because I made 2 educated guesses and had time to double check my answers. However, that was not the case for the afternoon part because I made 7 - 10 educated...
