I am in Sacramento - got my results yesterday... I passed!!! Only had to take the surveying exam... yea!!! I just checked the database and my name is not on it..

I also only took the surveying exam this time. I agree the problems are very time consuming and some of them were poorly written.
Also did anyone else notice that all the problems were equally weighted this time (6pt/problem).. anyone have idea how that will affect the scoring?
What calculator are you using or did you use for the CA surveying exam? I recently heard there are programs for the HP available. I am trying to decide whether to invest in a new calculator or continue with my TI???

Thanks so much - that is exactly what I needed to know. So once I enter the angle in deg and add/subtract I need to convert back to DMS to get the answer in deg.. I think that is the step I have been missing... I love this board!
Help.. I am working on studying for the CA Surveying exam and using the TI 30X IIS that I am planning to use for the PE. I am trying to add and subtract angles and don't know how to have this calculator add them in degrees and seconds? Anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone have a copy of the Kings tables for open channel flow? My local library does not have a copy of the reference and I understand they are a quick method for solving open channel questions.
