I took a course offered at the local Penn State branch campus. There are two guys teaching it and they were really great. It's official. I am a PE, but because PA still asks when you got your EIT certificate on the reciprocity application, I have to wait until Sept. 2009 to become a PE in my HOME STATE!!! Arrgh! At least I got the test out of the way, and my shiny new embosser for DE will be arriving this week...

So based upon the couple previous posts, because I work in Pennsylvania and earned my PE license in Delaware, I cannot use P.E. on my business cards until I get reciprocity/comity in Pennsylvania? Does that also mean I cannot use the PE designation in my email signatures since I do work for...

Future exam takers - take note! To prepare for the exam, wouldn't you have to be 'comfortable' in what you are (not) wearing at the actual exam? ;)

The Engr_Tam Method: 1. I enrolled in a PE prep class, starting in October of the previous year. There was where I discovered the Lindenberg texts. And the guys teaching the once-per-week course gave us sample problems and all we did was work the problems and they showed us some tricks and tips...

All we get is $100 per month extra. But then, they were willing to pay for the prep course, the books, the application fee, test fee, and the first year's registration fee. So it's not all that bad. I think they maybe put you on a different pay scale, but I'm not sure. I'm happy with letters...
