I'm not sure what this translates to, but in VA, you get your scores even when you pass (but not the breakdown in detail). My letter says that I "received a passing score of 82 on the FE examination" but I'm not sure if that means 82% right or if it's some kind of normalized value...

Agreed - while we might not have our scores yet in VA, the board has been very quick to respond to me and has given me helpful information

I looked on the NC website a bit, it looks like they call them EI in NC. Wikipedia says that it varies by state

The NCEES site says that the VA scores will be released online, but I contacted VA directly and they said that they only mail them (you can see the e-mail thread I posted it under "Virginia Results"). I think that PA is the same way - the results come via snail mail

more news from DPOR: E-mail from me: "Thank you! Will there be any update on the website to indicate when the letters have been mailed? Thanks!" Response: "No. If you have not received anything by the 3rd week of January, let us know so we can be sure we sent the grades to the right...
