    Mock Test

I agree with the above comments. I did not do too well on the mock exam the first time I took it but passed the real exam my first time. You have to realize that after all of your studying, if that was your score the first time you took the mock exam, it means you are doing really well. The...

    # Correct

Thanks. I got alot of great advice on this forum when I was studying. The advice I got here definitely made the difference for me. (Your advice in particular was always great.)

    # Correct

From personal experience, the diagnostic is a great tool but I did not get many questions right when I did it and I passed the PE exam. What I would do is try to understand the material of each question. If I got the answer right, great. If not I would try to understand what the right answer is...

Best Home / Online Review Class

I personally used part of Dr. Blank's review course: http://www.drblank.com/copevid4.htm#440 It may seem a bit pricey, but you do not need to order the entire set. I used EERM and the accompanying problems. I also used 6-minute solutions. For the PM Power module, which is what I wanted to...

This is a GREAT idea. I am game. Who do I send questions to? I have a few good ones for controls (AM exam)...I am not a controls guy so I will not attempt for PM.

well, what did you think (GENERALLY)?

Thanks for the recommendation. I started looking into those books after your earlier post. I had never heard about them before but would definitely like to find out more. The biggest problem I found was trying to "look up" experience type of information.

well, what did you think (GENERALLY)?

I felt the same way, that the morning questions were fair but the afternoon was a little more tricky. How did you prepare for the exam? What study materials/books did you bring and find most helpful? In the afternoon I had a few questions that I really had no clue as to what they were referring...

well, what did you think (GENERALLY)?

I'm with you. This board was extremely helpful. I do hope, however, that I do not have to go through that again. I wish I was more sure that I passed. I am not positive that I failed, but not positive the other way either. How did you find the questions (without giving specifics that would get...

Thank you both for the replies. Do you know if the EERM is a good reference for those?

Economics on the Electrical PE exam

Does anyone know if they realy do ask economics questions on the exam? I just realized I had skipped the topic  (and I want to know how hard I should try to review it over the next week)? Thanks

PE Review for EE from USF (Tampa,FL)

Another option is http://www.drblank.com/cope.htm These are FE and PE-electrical videos. The instructor is very good at explaining the topic and he is accessible via the phone.

    sequence components

MY Professor said a similar statement to what was said earlier. In the new format there isn't too much they can ask on this topic.
