I also used the TI-30Xa, sold at Walmart for under $11, for the PE Civil Water Res/Enviro CBT Breadth and Depth exam. The TI-30Xa did the job fine, and no calculator functions 'learning curve' needed. Passed the exam 3/14/2024.

That applies to me as well. Grandfathered in to PG Wyoming in ‘92. Then applied for CPG with AIPG in ‘95. Also applied for and was granted Alaska PG before grandfathering ended. Earned the PE outright by exams and experience.

Have you taken the PE exam ? I recommend Civil Water Res/Env. I have a similar background as you. I just passed. The old exam specs helped me. I studied only the NCEES exam prep guide. See my other posts. Thanks
