Submitted my app on June 14th and just got my license on Aug. 2nd. Took about 8 weeks. They say their standard processing time is 6-8 weeks.

Must be nice. MI is slow. State cashed my license/app fee on Wed 6/15. Still 4 wks estimated to get the number/cert. :brickwall:

I passed 1st try Civil WR but did sign up for exam cafe through ppi. I found the questions to be more in-depth and involved than what was on the exam but it did help for learning the concepts and methods. I would hit the 6min solutions good and make sure you have all your traspo references known...

Could look at Forensic Engineering (i.e. why did something fail or go wrong). They are always looking for structural types.
