I PASSED! Thats both tests in the bag....congrats to everyone who passed, condolences to those who didnt...I didnt pass the lateral the first time, so there are second chances!!
I think they just send you your stuff after a few weeks (if memory serves). Technically I dont think you can call yourself a PE until you have a number.
Has anyone heard of SE results being released?
I've been watching the PE boards...first result emails came in at 11:30 this morning...and they are still coming out. I swear they are composing each one individually...
Damn....I'm guessing the SE's come after the PE's....and I'm guessing Smith will take a while. Especially since they seem to be writing each email individually.
I took it once before in the spring, but they released them like a month after the PE's. They don't do that in the fall...I dont know if I can handle it much longer!
My guess is that it would be longer than the 4 years required for the PE...probably at least 4 years as a structural PE. Keep in mind though, a grandfathered PE probably wont be worth anything to California or Washington, you are going to want to pass the exam if thats your goal.
They are always talking about going to the SE, but it hasn't happened yet...when they do there will likely be a grandfathering opportunity. I do quite a bit of work across the country and would like to be able to seal documents out west.
