    I was incorrect (see above ^^). I did not see any sample NESC question in my prep work or when I took the test and passed in October of 2012.

    The test uses the 2011 National Electrical Code (NEC) book. The test does not contain questions on the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).

    mevans is correct, there is no way to deenergize the circuit! All of the contacts associated with a relay will change state when it is energized. A normally open closes; a normally closed opens.

    PE Electrical and Electronics Review Course

    I took the Testmasters course in Houston and it was very helpful. I passed on the first try and this was one of the reasons why. The only issue is that it is offered over the course of three weekends.

    Motor Nameplate Current vs NEC Tables - STILL CONFUSED

    The way I understand it is that you are supposed to use the table values for sizing because the motor could be replaced at a future date. It's supposed to account for this.
