I found this free website for the Indian Institute of Technology Madras which has great notes on a wide range of Hydraulics topics including ones needed for the PE. Here is the link: http://nptel.iitm.ac...RAS/Hydraulics/
You can click on any of the topics listed and it will bring up a pdf. There are color diagrams and very breif descriptions if you are looking for something more entertaining than looking through your CERM or other references and something alot cheaper than taking a review class.
I'm taking the PE Exam for the first time in October.

A reservoir, a hydraulic cylinder, and a pump make up the three main parts of a hydraulic pump. A general hydraulic pump design can be further categorized into specific groups. A hydraulic pump is a very important component of construction, manufacturing, and machining equipment.
