Engineering Education & Training (EET) presents Civil PE review classes, both Live (Seminar) and on-line (Webinar), starting August 3, 2013.

EET preparation classes are designed for full interaction with exam candidates to enhance the learning experience and maximize the chance for passing the exam. The following is a summary of EET preparation classes’ main highlights:

 • EET Civil PE classes are taught using two separate modules: “Breadth” and “Depth”. The goal is to let exam candidates focus their study on only the relevant materials on the breadth topics per the NCEES syllabus and provide adequate time to cover the depth topic they chose.
 • Civil PE Depth classes include: Transportation, Geotechnical, Construction, and Water Resources and Environmental.
 • Examples and exercises are solved to illustrate concepts discussed in the class and to help you master the fundamentals of the subject matter.
 • Problem-solving workshops are conducted at the end of each module to help you gain confidence in solving exam problems.
 • EET instructors are well experienced in the subject matter, are passionate about teaching, and are available to help you one-on-one till exam date.

The extensive review and material will defenetly make you ready for the PE. I will recomend this class to anybody that want to take Water and Environmental Civil PE.

I just found out that I passed the April 2015 8-hour exam on my first try and I can't be more thankful that I found out about the Engineering, Education & Training (EET) review class when I did. In the Fall I took the AJRPE review class thinking I would get a jump start to my studying. Reflecting back now and compare the two classes; there is no comparison. If it wasn’t for my friends recommendation (who after two attempts at the PE took the EET review course and passed on his third attempt) I wouldn’t have found or registered with EET. I want to share my success to everyone else so that they can enjoy what I did and pass this exam on their first try.

Just two give you a little background on myself. I am a husband and father of three kids so to say the least I knew it wasn't going to be easy going into the PE exam, but I did it.

The EET class is very well organized and structured. The instructors are dedicated and committed to their students. They know that we're doing this process because we need the PE for our careers, but they focus and want you to enjoy the experience of studying and passing the exam on your first try. I can genuinely say that I really enjoyed the classes especially the depth class and really felt like I was learning and understanding the material. Nazrul Islam is depth instructor for the Water Resources and Environmental portion on the review course. He is an excellent instructor and probably one of the best that I have experienced through all of my years of school and studying. He’s notes are very detailed and up to date, you can tell that he is constantly updating or improving his notes to ensure that they keep up with the changes being made in the exam format/test plan. Nazrul has a great personality and he is easy to talk to. Nazrul and all of the instructors are there for the students and want us to pass. EET seemed different than other review classes in that they weren’t as strict about their material. What I mean is that I was enrolled in the live seminar class, but there were multiple occasions where I knew I was going to miss class and the instructors allowed me access to the on-demand lecture to watch the videos on my own. I have experienced other review classes where every hour is counted and logged against you and once those hours are used that’s it.

Lastly, I want to emphasize that the material, instructors, and environment is great at EET, but the course is not easy. You will have homework and lots of lecture. If you want to pass the PE on your first try then this is the class for you. Make sure that you do what Nazrul and the other instructors tell you and you are guaranteed to pass; these guys are professionals and good at what they do.

Thank you EET and especially Nazrul for having such an awesome review course without you guys I know that I wouldn’t have been able to pass on my first time.

Good luck all my fellow PE’s.

Does it seem like there are more shills for EET this time then ever before? Everyone is positive it's the only reason they passed, etc. They must have upped the amount they're paying for positive reviews......

The only compensation I received from EET for my positive reviews was the word "PASS" on my NCEES login page.

It is a quality program, and the reviews are warranted.

You are not the only one I've noticed. But if you're not getting a kickback from them you should be. As much as you're pumping them up.

That's an interesting theory Nightwatch.

Have you ever recommended a product to colleagues without kickbacks, or is a kickback required for you to give positive feedback?

Pointing future test takers in the right direction, as was done for me, is compensation enough.

I was going to take one of the "other" review courses, but was steered towards EET. So far based on my non-scientific observations of this board, about 50% of those who took the "other" course failed, citing a major lack of support in preparation for the PM. I haven't heard of anyone from EET failing.

Sure I have. But I don't post it in multiple threads on every forum. Just an observation. But granted, I'm cynical by nature. Also, I've noticed a lot of the positive feedback is from new posters with very little history. Makes me go hmmmm......

Seems like EET does not provide a Structural Depth PM review course

Any alternatives that are recommended other than SoPE?

Just signed up for the on-demand EET course. Hopefully the on-demand is just as good as the live classes. Anyone here take the on demand webinars with EET?

I just finished the simulated practice exam hosted by EET. It was pretty tough, harder than the actual exam (I have taken it twice now sadly) I assume it is to prepare you for anything the exam may throw at you. I am in the on demand portion for the morning and afternoon (construction depth). With this being my third go I just hope this time I too will get that "Passed" notification....

All in all though I hold EET as one of the best deals for the price.
