#193 wrong in Lindeburg 2ed Civil PE Sample Exam

The formula for the total clearance interval is t + V/(2a + 64.4g) + (w+L)/V. Formula for Yellow Interval is t + V/(2a + 64.4g) the renaming part is for red interval. Can anyone help, its making my head hurt, someone asked the same question few years ago but there was no answer.
