Got an email from NCEES this morning, heart kinda jumped thinking it was results. NOPE just asking me to take a survey!  >:(

They usually send that email 10 weeks before results are released.

I gave all good feedback. Maybe that'll help my score.

Yeah, that email definitely gave me a scare this morning! Oh well, another 4-6 weeks now..

I just noticed on the NCEES website. The Registration for PE 2016 April exam starts December 07. It seems pretty early to me. Or It is always this time of year?  Does it ring any bell for a possible October 2015 PE exam results before or the same week as the new registration starts?.  I was just wondering How the exam re-takers who unfortunately might fail October test are supposed to get register this early even before they know about their October 2015 test.

It means nothing.

That might be the good ol' NCEES with all the tricks it plays. Don't wonder about anything. Take every moment to think how fantastic the day would be when you finally are given the P.E. license.

HOW HAS IT ONLY BEEN 19 DAYS?! Seems like forever ago! I want my freaking result!

I wanted to throw in my two cents regarding the October 2015 Civil - Water Resources exam.

I am only two years out of college (read my intro to find out why).  For preparation, I signed up for the School of PE in-person review course.  They didn't get enough participation, so they cancelled it and offered me a reduced price for the live, online version.  This was about 6 weekends of test prep in addition to my own personal studying.  I still did not feel ready to take the exam.  In fact, I almost rescheduled to take it in April, but decided to take it anyways, just to take it and see how the whole process would go.

Walking in, knowing I was going to fail took a huge amount of pressure off me.  Maybe the calmed nerves helped, but by the time I finished the morning session, I felt really good about my chances of passing.  The afternoon was more challenging, since my primary Work focus is Stormwater, and the Environmental stuff is not in my normal purview.  But even struggling through it, I felt I did well enough to pass.  (However, there were times during the test prep I was sure I had the right answer and still managed to get it wrong due to NCEES's "most correct answer" methodology.)

I can't wait for the results and sure hope I don't have to take it again.  But, if I do, now I know what to expect.

I think the general consensus is that the Civil AM was much more difficult than usual, so if you felt confident after finishing up the morning session, I'd say you have reason to feel optimistic.  Even if the worst should happen and you need to take it again in April you will have a much better idea of what to prepare for next time.

I took Construction in the afternoon, so I can't speak to any of your afternoon questions, but hopefully there was enough of an emphasis on water to keep you afloat!
