***Warning annual meltdown ahead***

I'm disappointed. I look forward to making a snarky remark about how the pass rate for nuclear is really low and that maybe more people would actually take the exam if they thought they had a more than a snowball's chance at passing it. But nuclear finally kept its pass rate about 60% for more than a single year. And even got the raw number of passers above 25 for the first time ever. Congrats! Maybe they won't discontinue the test after all!

Too bad they're changing the format next year. The pass rate for nuclear is always awful right after they change the test. Which means the pass rate will plummet into the 30s.

Looks like the environmental pass rate for first time takers continues to go up:

Oct. 2016 - 62%

Apr. 2017 - 69%

Oct. 2017 - 71%

Env. is going from 100 questions to 80, but that starts next April.

I wonder if they took that into account when grading/setting the cut scores in 2017 - Maybe they knew in 2017 that in 2018 they would reduce the number of questions from 100 to 80 so when they set the cut score they kept that in mind? Who knows...?

I haven’t got my results yet, but as a repeat taker, that pass rate is certainly disheartening
Yeah it would be nice to get results sometime, but I'm feeling optimistic with a 69% for first-timers tin Transportation.  Hopefully I'll see that green box later today!

Oh man I hope you get your results soon :( And that you're in the 35% :D
Thanks for that! My colleague at work was a repeat taker for the Enviro exam, and they were in the “minority” for their exam cycle. Here’s to hoping that applies to me as well

Haha well I am part of that 69% in trans! I wish you luck :)
