Am really thinking hard about the CPU fans in my Laptop. Is the fan an automatic system? Do it behave in a manner such that the higher the temperature ,the higher the RPM of the fan? I this is the case how is this achievable? I know on the CPU we have a temperature sensor where it gives voltage as an output, does it mean that we have to filter the voltage then use an amplifier before we can feed it on the fan through the computer mother board? Does it mean that the more the volts the higher the speed?
