Yep that is the first thing I did when I signed up to take the PE. It's not too late for those who haven't done it. just log into your NCEES account and go to your user preferences.

And make sure you contact NCEES if you don't find the options...You might want to try Ashlei or Elizabeth. Nancy would redirect you to someone else...

A very good trick is to setup your phone number as an email so you get an automated text. All modern cellphone companies allow for this and allow for you to received emails as text with your phone number, you just need to google your cellphone company setup. I have AT&T, so I went into my NCEES profile and I setup my notification email as [email protected] and when they send an email to that address I will get a text message.
