SC man arrested for unsheathing 'wand' during Potter screening

BLUFFTON, SC (WCSC) - An overzealous Harry Potter fan was arrested at a Bluffton movie theater Monday after authorities found him invoking some "magic" of his own.
According to a release by the Bluffton Police Department, responding officers joined projectionists in one of Sea Turtle Cinemas' projection booths where they witnessed a patron manually pleasuring his exposed genitals while the most recent installment of the Harry Potter franchise played on screen.

Officers then entered the theater and arrested the suspect, identified as Alexander Ofner.

Ofner, a Bluffton local, was charged with indecent exposure, and transported to the Bluffton County Detention Center to await a bond hearing, the report stated.
