It looks like we will be getting a little weather this evening.  Where I live, we are expecting not much more than a good thunderstorm, but none the less rumor is that the office will close early today and we will use the event to test our emergency action plan tomorrow.

Yike! Be safe!

But also best to stay hydrated, so a definite must on the beer.
Definitely a must on the brew, especially if you're in Phoenix or Sacramento areas where the temps have been in the 100's all week.

The important thing is to buy enough so that the cans can be used to create a makeshift raft in an emergency.  Alcohol is also a disinfectant and beer cans can even be used to boil water to make it drinkable.

Beer is pretty much the ultimate survival tool when you look at it that way.
