I have been reading about the FDM 3D printer at Blog - The Engineering Projects and after going through the information, I noticed that in our store we have an FDM 3D printer that is not in good condition. On checking on the label placed on it by the previous technician who worked on it , he placed a note that we should replace the 8 bit controller of the 3d printer to 32 bit controller. I need suggestion of which can be the best microcontroller that can be used for this printer and i how a new one is configured.
Is it true that by the use of the 32 microcontroller will increase the speed of the printer?. My self I have never been used to operating the printer.
